MEMPHIS, Tenn.- Feeding off a seven-run top of the eighth inning, the Wichita State softball team claimed the first two games of the series against Memphis in Friday's doubleheader 10-3 in extra innings and 8-4.
Madison Perrigan led the Shockers with four combined hits and four RBIs in the two games, coming up with three doubles and tying her career high with two in the second game. Erin McDonald picked up her ninth win of the season while Caitlin Bingham claimed her 12th win of the season.
Game One
The Shockers started things off in the top of the first with Sydney McKinney obtaining a leadoff single, with Ryleigh Buck hitting her fourth career triple to bring in the game's first run.
