MANHATTAN, Kan. – came through with the deciding point in Wichita State's 4-3 dual win over Kansas State Friday afternoon at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium.
The Shockers (6-4) conceded a close doubles point but took four of the six singles matches to defeat their in-state rival for the first time since 2018.
"We let the doubles point slip away a bit and singles was a dog fight from start to finish," head coach said. "We talked last week about the importance of closing out matches in two sets, and today we were able to do that.
