Between the Coach Wilson Invitational, the DeLoss Dodds Invitational and the Washburn Open, Wichita State recorded 14 top five marks in the American Athletic Conference.
After Destiny Masters and Brianna Utecht put up the No. 1 and No. 2 pentathlon scores in the AAC on Thursday, Luke Czarnecki cleared a conference-leading 2.07m/6'9.5" in the high jump on his way to the No. 2 heptathlon score in the AAC. Czarnecki finished fourth at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational with a score of 5,107, and Hudson Bailey took second with 5,288 points.
