LAFAYETTE, La.- The Wichita State men's golf team continues its spring season on Monday, competing in the 34th annual Louisiana Classics.
Four teams in team in the 15-team field are ranked in the top-100 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, with Illinois (29) and Kent State (61) coming off an NCAA Championship appearance last season.
Following a 10th place finish at The Farms Invitational to open the spring season, head coach Grier Jones is shaking up the lineup by adding two new players in the Shocker scorecard. Palmer Hays is competing in his first tournament since The Jackrabbit, where he tied for 47th with a score of 231.
