LAS CRUCES, N.M.- For the ninth consecutive year, the Wichita State men's golf team will compete in the Herb Wimberly Invitational.
The Shockers last won the event in 2012 with a score of 841 and have won the tournament three times in its program's history.
Senior Yannik Emmert is coming off a 28th place finish in The Jackrabbit on Oct. 2 and will play in his final Herb Wimberly Invitational after claiming 4th in 2016. Senior Adrien Michellod came up with his third career top-20 performance in The Jackrabbit and finished tied for 39th when he competed in New Mexico State's event as a freshman in 2015.
