WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State launched three home runs for a second straight day, racing out to a 12-0 lead and coasting past New Mexico 13-7 on Sunday afternoon at Eck Stadium.
Chuck Ingram set a new career high with five hits, adding three RBI and a pair of runs scored.
The Shockers (9-10) wasted little time hanging a five-spot on the board in the first inning against New Mexico starter Tristin Lively (0-2). After a pair of walks, Chuck Ingram rolled an RBI single through the left side to get the scoring started.
