Shockers Pick Up 34 Top 10 Finishes

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Wichita State's track and field teams had 34 top 10 finishes today at the Arkansas Spring Invitational at John McDonnell Field led by Brady Johnson's title in the 3,000 meters and Kelsey Lathrop's win in the 800 meters.

Johnson won the 3,000 meters in a time of 8:24.74, while Lathrop topped the field with a time of 2:16.02 in the 800 meters.

On the men's side, Nathan Wickoren was the runner-up in the 3,000 meter Steeplechase in a personal best time of 9:31.49. Jake James also set a personal record in a sixth-place finish in the 110 meter hurdles in a time of 14.
