Shockers Open Fall World Series Saturday

Wichita State baseball is scheduled to begin its annual Black and Yellow Fall World Series with game one Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. at Eck Stadium, Home of Tyler Field.

The five-game series runs from Oct. 10 through Oct. 17, with games one and five (Saturday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m.) open to the public. Games two, three and four will be closed.

Each game will be seven innings in length, and all five games will be played, regardless of the series record. Live stats will be available for all games in the series.

Admission is FREE to both games open to the public, however, due to COVID-19 guidelines, capacity will be limited to 2,000 and masks will be required to be worn throughout the facility by anyone who is five years of age or older.
