WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State men's tennis team fell in heartbreaking fashion to the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Friday afternoon at Genesis Rock Road, 4-3.
Texas Tech improved to 4-3 with the win. Wichita State is now 2-4 with the defeat.
Texas Tech came out with high energy in doubles, using a fast start to steal the doubles point from the Shockers. The Red Raiders took the point with a 6-1 win over and and a tight second win over and at court three, 7-5.
In singles, Texas Tech doubled their lead quickly with a 6-2, 6-1 win over at court six.
