WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State needed five extra minutes to record its biggest win of the season, upsetting No. 14 Memphis, 84-79, in Charles Koch Arena Sunday afternoon.
Wichita State (15-10, 5-7) snapped a 10-game losing streak vs. ranked opponents with the victory. The Shockers last defeated a Top 25 team nearly four years ago to the day on Feb. 18, 2021 vs. No. 6 Houston.
The Shockers continued their strong play of late, winning their fourth straight game after starting conference play 1-7.
