WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State men's tennis coach Danny Bryan announced the signing of student-athlete Elio Lago Tuesday afternoon.
Lago joins Alex Richards, Zach Grueber and Rafael and Bruno Serra who signed in the fall to make up the Shockers' five-man signing class.
A native of Fortaleza, Brazil, Lago comes to Wichita State after spending the last three seasons at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Lago, who earned second-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors in 2018, compiled 39 singles wins over a three-year span and finished the 2017-18 season with 24 overall singles wins for the Ragin' Cajuns.
