KANSAS CITY, Mo.- After breaking the program record for lowest 54-hole score in its last tournament, the Wichita State women's golf team has kept that momentum in the first two rounds of the Kansas City Intercollegiate.
The Shockers are currently in third place, with three players in the top 20 after 36 holes. Senior Laine Evans looks to claim her highest finish of the spring season, coming in a tie for 7th place after the first day. Evans came up with three birdies to finish 1-under par in the first round, coming up with a 77 in the second round to collect a score of 148.
