WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State softball team will wrap up its fall season on Tuesday, as they host Northern Oklahoma College at Enid in a 10-inning game at 5 p.m., at Wilkins Stadium.
The Jets ended the 2016 season with an overall record of 37-19-1 and posted a conference record of 20-12, good enough for third place in the conference. The Jets return three all-region second team players from last season, and one all-region honorable mention player.
The Shockers are coming off a strong performance last week against Hutchinson Community College, winning 18-0 and allowing just one hit in 10-innings of play.
