WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State softball team continue their fall schedule this weekend when they play host to Cowley College on Friday evening and Washburn University on Sunday afternoon.
The Shockers host the Tigers on Friday [5p.m. first pitch] who finished the 2017 season 46-17 overall after winning a Jayhawk East title, Region VI District E Championship and finishing fifth at the NJCAA Division II national tournament. Head coach Jenny Hoyt, who has led the Tiger's to 111 wins in three seasons, was also named the Jayhawk East coach of the year during the 2017 season.
