COLUMBIA, Mo. – Brock Polhill set a new career best with a second place individual finish, and Wichita State put together their best team outing of the 2022 season in a runner-up performance at the MU Tiger Invitational at The Club at Old Hawthorne on Tuesday.
Polhill (67-68-69u2060—204) ended the tournament just one stroke back of Missouri's Jack Parker, who held on for the win with a par on 18 while Polhill carded a five. It was one of just three bogeys on the round for Polhill, who racked up 19 birdies over the course of 54 holes, the second-highest total in the 90-player field.
