SMYRNA, Tenn. -- Wichita State wrapped up the 2024-25 regular season with another strong showing at the Music City Classic, finishing 7th out of 31 teams over the weekend at the Smyrna Bowling Center. The Shockers went 9-4 in total, picking up wins against the #3, #6 and #9-ranked teams in the country along the way.
Wichita State concludes the regular season with a record of 77-35 and will await their seeding at next week's Conference USA Tournament in Harahan, Louisiana.
Youngstown State claimed the team title, besting Jacksonville State in the final. Maryville and Vanderbilt checked in at third and fourth, respectively.
