WICHITA—The Wichita State men's basketball battled through late-game adversity to pull out a, 93-88, overtime victory against UCF on Saturday inside of Charles Koch Arena.
The Shockers faced an eight-point deficit with less than four minutes remaining, but they bounced back with an 8-0 run to tie the game with 1:17 remaining.
From that point, the Shockers and Knights traded free throws, ending regulation in a 77-77 deadlock.
In overtime, the Knights jumped out to a lead on a 7-2 run, but Wichita State fought back once again to take control of the game.
