LINCOLN, Neb. – No. 14 Missouri scored multiple runs in three different innings to defeat Wichita State, 8-2, in the final game of the Big Red Invitational Sunday afternoon.
Wichita State (9-5) went 2-2 over the weekend, sweeping both games vs. the host Huskers. The Shockers are 2-5 this season against ranked teams.
(4-1) suffered her first loss in the circle. She allowed six runs on six hits and six walks in 5.2 innings.
The Shockers managed just four hits in the game.
