WICHITA, Kan. -- Oklahoma State put up four multi-run innings in the first six frames and never looked back, defeating Wichita State 10-1 on Wednesday night at Eck Stadium.
The Cowboys (17-5) seized control early with two runs in the top of the first inning. A Nolan McLean RBI double and Nolan Schubart sacrifice fly against Wichita State starter Cameron Bye (0-3) opened the scoring, then Oklahoma State pounced for two more in the third on a Roc Riggio two-run homer that made it 4-0.
Brock Rodden answered with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth for Wichita State, extending his hitting streak to 14 games and trimming the deficit to 4-1.
