WICHITA, Kan. – South Florida led from start to finish in a resounding 91-72 win in Wichita State's American Athletic Conference home opener Monday night in Charles Koch Arena.
Wichita State (10-5, 0-2) surrendered 90-plus points for the second straight game and allowed the Bulls to shoot 57 percent from the field, a season high for an opponent.
South Florida outscored the Shockers by 27 beyond the arc where the Bulls converted 12-of-26 attempts (46 percent) compared to just 3-of-20 (15 percent) for Wichita State.
The Shockers had just 12 turnovers on the night, but the Bulls made them pay on every single one of them.
