FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Looking for a rematch from the 2018 NCAA Regional Final, the Wichita State softball team fell short of that goal and dropped both games of the doubleheader (9-1 and 4-2) against Arkansas on Wednesday at Bogle Park.
Sydney McKinney collected two hits in game one, hitting her first career home run in the process. Madison Perrigan hit her ninth home run of the season in game two, marking the second time in three games where she hit a home run.
Game One
Arkansas came up with a leadoff single to start the bottom of the first, but Erin McDonald retired the next six batters to keep the game scoreless after two innings.
