ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The No. 39-ranked Wichita State men's tennis team fell in a hard-fought battle, 4-2, to New Mexico Saturday at the McKinnon Family Stadium.

Stefan Latinovic and Haru Inoue got off to a hot start for the Shockers in the third flight, where they took down Casey Recci and Tim Buttner, 6-1 to give WSU the early advantage. New Mexico answered in the second flight, where Dominic West and Facundo Bermejo took down Shocker duo Andrea Caligiana and Marius Frosa, 6-1. Murkel Delline and Eddie Stoica were down big early, before cutting the Lobo lead to one at 5-4.
