Shockers Fall at Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State hit six home runs to knock off Wichita State 14-8 on Tuesday night at Tointon Family Stadium.

Shintaro Inoue and Dee Kennedy each connected for a pair of homers, while David Bishop and AJ Evasco added one apiece. The Wildcats (24-17) had four innings of three runs.

Wichita State (12-28) struck for the first run of the game in the top of the first, taking advantage of a two-base error that set the stage for a RBI single. Inoue's first long ball of the night answered the run in the home half of the inning, then the Wildcats grabbed the lead for good in the second with three runs.
