LINCOLN, Neb. - The men's tennis team fell to Nebraska by a score of 5-2 this afternoon at the Dillon Tennis Center.
Nebraska (3-8) took the doubles point, bouncing back from an early hole with a pair of 6-3 wins. Jocelyn Devilliers/Eddie Stoica defeated Dylan Bednarczyk/Chris Dean 6-2 to start the dual, but Micah Klousia/David Samardzija topped Murkel Dellien/Marius Frosa 6-3 in the second flight, and Toby Boyer/Jon Meyer beat Jan Poboril/Miroslav Herzan 6-3 to put the Huskers up 1-0.
Poboril played and won his first singles win since becoming a Shocker in January, taking the first singles point with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Samardzija in the sixth flight.
