HOUSTON- The Wichita State men's golf continues its spring season with the Bayou City Collegiate classic starting on Monday.
This is the first time the Shockers will be competing in the event hosted by the University of Houston, Sam Houston State and Rice. Wichita State will also compete against Abilene Christian, Arkansas State, Denver, George Washington, Houston Baptist, Lamar, McNeese State, New Mexico State, Texas State, UT-Arlington and UTSA.
Yannik Emmert is coming off a tied for 32nd finish at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, leading the Shockers with a 216 54-hole score. Highlighting the individual results from Wichita State's last outing was freshman Brock Polhill, who finished with a career low 54-hole score of 217 and his highest career finish after placing in a tie for 37th.
