ORLANDO—The Wichita State men's basketball team was taken to the wire once again, but prevailed over UCF by a score of, 61-60, inside of Addition Financial Arena on Wednesday night.
The Shockers battled back and forth with the Knights in the second half. The game featured nine led changes and two ties, but the decision possession was the final one of the game.
UCF's Darius Perry had a shot miss at the buzzer that would have clinched the game for UCF. His clock-expiring attempt fell to the floor and the Shockers escaped Orlando with a win.
