WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State baseball team posted a doubleheader split with the South Florida Bulls Friday, May 14, at Eck Stadium, Home of Tyler Field, dropping game one, 8-2, before winning the nightcap, 9-3.
The Shockers (26-19, 14-11 American) and Bulls (21-23, 11-11 American) are scheduled to play game three of the four-game series Saturday, May 15, at 2 p.m.
After being held to only two runs on eight hits in the game one setback, Wichita State responded in game two, scoring nine runs on 10 hits on its way to the victory.
