WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State didn't collect a hit until the fifth inning and was held to just two total on the night in a 4-1 loss to the sixth-ranked Oklahoma State Cowgirls at Wilkins Stadium.
Wichita State saw its three-game win streak come to an end, dropping to 20-11 overall this season.
Erin McDonald (5-6) suffered the loss, but gave Wichita State a chance in the circle. The offense wasn't able to generate much until the fifth and seventh innings. McDonald allowed four runs, three earned, on seven hits.
Krystin Nelson was 2-for-3 with a pair of singles.
