Shockers Drop Game to FIU Sunday

DELAND, Fla. – The Wichita State University baseball team fell to the FIU Panthers, 9-2, Sunday, March 21, at Melching Field on the Stetson University campus.

Wichita State (8-8) is scheduled to return home to Eck Stadium, Home of Tyler Field, for a midweek game against Kansas State Tuesday, March 23, at 6 p.m.

Junior infielder went 2-for-4, while tripled and drove in a run, leading the Shockers for the game.

Freshman right-hander (1-2) suffered the loss on the mound for WSU after giving up six runs – five earned – on seven hits with four strikeouts and two walks in 4 1/3 innings.
