WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State track and field program dominated the K.T. Woodman Classic, Saturday afternoon at Cessna Stadium.
Despite battling cold and windy conditions, the Shockers ended day four of the K.T. Woodman Classic winning 14 of 30 events held on the final day of competition. Wichita State won seven men's events and seven women's events, including the women's 4x100m and 4x400m relays and the men's 4x400m relay. Wichita State found most of its success on the track winning 10 events.
The Shocker women started things off hot on the track winning the 4x100m, Paula Garcia, Jacque Darby, Raianna Maples and Taniyah McMillian combined to clock a time of 46.
