WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State softball team finished off its fall season on a high note, defeating Northern Oklahoma-Enid by a score of 9-0 on Tuesday evening.
Morgan Palmer started in the circle for the Shockers, allowing just one hit in two innings. Katie Malone finished the last five innings, allowing just three hits, and striking out 10.
After a scoreless first inning, Kiersten Otte scored from second base on an error by the second baseman. A single by Kelli Spring to left field scored one, as McKenzie Adams got thrown out at home for the final out of the inning, giving Wichita State an early 2-0 lead.
