Wichita State topped the 20-run mark for the third time this fall in a 23-2 win over Emporia State Saturday afternoon at Wilkins Stadium.
The Shockers pounded out 20 hits and four home runs in the contest, while only allowing two runs on four hits.
Lainee Brown, Paige Rocha, Neleigh Herring and Lauren Mills all left the yard, while Brown led all Shockers with six RBI. Herring and Mills hit back-to-back home runs in a five-run bottom of the seventh.
Wichita State put up crooked numbers in the second (4), fourth (3), fifth (6), sixth (3), seventh (5) and a single run in both the eighth and ninth innings.
