EAGLE, Colo. – The Wichita State women's golf team wrapped up play at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic at Red Sky Golf Club to conclude their second tournament of the year.
The Shockers finished 16th with a score of 909, 45 strokes over-par, and with round scores of 298, 309, and 302.
Kansas won the tournament at 15 strokes under par, seven clear of second place Boise State and Pepperdine. Savannah de Bock of Eastern Michigan won the individual title at 12 strokes under par, three ahead of Pepperdine's Lauren Gomez.
The altitude change to over 7,000 feet proved to trouble for the Shockers, as they could not find a groove all week up in the Rocky Mountains.
