TULSA, Okla. – Two Shockers concluded play Tuesday in the qualifying back draw of the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa.
Inoue and Frosa both competed in the back draw, at the Union High Tennis Center. Inoue took on current USC freshman and Overland Park, Kan. native Bradley Frye, while Frosa took the court against North Carolina's Bo Boyden.
Inoue got off to a quick start over Frye, and clinched the first set (7-5). Frye took the lead early in the second and never looked back, collecting a 6-4 second set win. In the third, Inoue rallied to a 3-2 advantage before Frye answered, winning the set (6-4) and the match, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.
