SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Wichita State completed the NCAA West Regional, Saturday night at Hornet Stadium.
Day three of the NCAA West Regional did not see as much success as Day Two for the Shockers. Wichita State failed to advance any athletes to the NCAA Championships, despite entering the final day of competition with nine athletes in seven different individual events and two relays in action.
The Shockers closest chance in punching a ticket on day three came from middle distance runner Zack Penrod finishing one spot out of the top-12, placing 13th in the men's 1500m with a time of 3:43.
