KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C.- The Wichita State women's golf team finished the first round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Sunday.
The Shockers compiled a team score of 308 and are currently in 13th in the team standings. Wichita State currently leads Marshall, Xavier, Charleston Southern, Elon, and Western Carolina.
Senior Laine Evans completed the first round with a 76, putting herself in a tie with senior Gavrilla Arya for 36th.
Junior Michelle Ledermann shot a 76 and tied with Arya and Evans for 36th while freshman Hana Mirnik finished the first 18 holes with an 80.
