LAS CRUCES, N.M.- The Wichita State men's golf team finished the first 36 holes of the Herb Wimberly Invitational on Monday.
The Shockers are currently in eighth place, coming up with a team score of 604.
Sophomore Zac Owens eyes his second career top-20 finish of the season, with his 148 putting him in a tie for 18th place. Freshman Dawson Lewis is tied for 38th place after shooting 151 while senior Adrien Michellod shot a 153 to put himself in a tie for 43rd.
Senior Yannik Emmert shot a 154 and is tied for 53rd and freshman Brock Polhill is currently tied for 69th after compiling a 158.
