WICHITA, Kan. - Compiling 16 hits as a team in Sunday's fall matchup against Central Oklahoma, the Wichita State softball team came out with a 13-2 win on Sunday at Wilkins Stadium.
Senior Bailey Lange led the Shockers with a 2-for-4 performance at the plate, adding a home run and six strikeouts in the circle. Junior Ryleigh Buck went 3-for-5 with an RBI, while sophomore Neleigh Herring came up with three hits in three at-bats.
A single from senior Laurie Derrico allowed freshman Adeline Reese to score the game's first run, with a stolen base allowing Buck to score on the throw to second.
