WICHITA, Kan. - Despite being tied at halftime with UCF, Wichita State fell short 57-49 on Wednesday night at Charles Koch Arena.
Wichita State (11-14, 4-8) turned the ball over eight times in the fourth quarter and missed its first seven shots to let UCF pull away. WSU finished the game shooting 37 percent and committing 19 turnovers, while also going 4-of-14 from beyond the arc.
UCF missed 12 of its 14 shots from long range, but shot 46 percent overall and outrebounded the Shockers 31-29.
Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage and Raven Prince led the Shockers with 10 points each, with Lozada-Cabbage collected her second double-double of the season and her fourth game with 10 or more rebounds.
