Wichita State plays its home finale at 3 p.m. Wednesday against Emporia State at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.
Afterwards, fans are invited to stick around for some post-match pizza (courtesy of the Maureen Connolly Brinker Tennis Foundation of Kansas), and kids of all ages and ability levels will have a chance to sharpen at free kids clinic with Shocker players and coaches.
Due to injuries, the Shockers (6-12) have played their last four matches with only five players. They're looking to snap an eight-match skid.
Emporia State (5-6) is led by a familiar face, Les Stafford, who coached the Shockers for 15 seasons from 1990-2004 and still ranks second on the school's all-time wins list (178).
