LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Wichita State scored four runs over the first three innings but fell silent over the final six as Little Rock rallied for a 5-4 win to salvage the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Gary Hogan Field.
The Shockers (2-1) took leads in each of the first three innings at 1-0, 3-1, and 4-3 but were not able to hold on. Little Rock (1-2) tied the game at 4-4 in the fourth and took the lead for good with a run in the bottom of the fifth that proved to be the difference.
