WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State track and field team wrapped up day two of the Shocker Spring Invitational Saturday at Cessna Stadium with 12 event titles.
Semaj McGhee highlighted the field event victories with a personal-best 12.84m/42-1.5 in the triple jump to jump up to third all-time in WSU history. Margaux Thompson also found success in the jumps, claiming her second-straight win in the pole vault after clearing 3.47m/11-4.5.
The Shockers swept the 100-meter titles with Faith Turner sprinting to an 11.76 finish to rank fifth in the American Athletic Conference standings, and Jaleel Montgomery crossing the line in first place with a time of 10.
