MEMPHIS – Three Shockers in double-figures combined with a stout defensive effort led Wichita State to a 57-48 road win at Memphis Wednesday night at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
Wichita State (10-12, 3-6) held Memphis to 33 percent shooting, 3-of-21 from three-point range and outrebounded the Tigers.
Carla Bremaud collected her team-leading 11th game in double-figures with a game-high 13 points. She finished 3-of-5 from beyond the arc to go with five rebounds. Trajata Colbert just missed her season high with 11 points and Seraphine Bastin chipped in 12 points, five boards and four assists.
