ARLINGTON, Texas – The Wichita State men's tennis team ended their losing streak with a 4-1 win over the UT-Arlington Mavericks on Thursday afternoon in Arlington at UTA Tennis Center.
With the loss, the Shockers (4-16) snap a losing streak that had spanned eight matches and Wichita State hands UTA (6-7) their third loss in their last three matches.
In doubles, the Shockers started in a deficit after and were defeated 6-2 at court three to give the Mavericks an early edge. At court two, and took an early lead and never let it go on their way to a 6-3 win to tie doubles 1-1.
