LINCOLN, Neb. – Wichita State bounced back in a big way after falling to No. 14 Missouri in 5 innings, 13-3, in the first game of the day to run-rule Nebraska, 17-4, in 6 innings Saturday.
Wichita State's 17 runs are the most by an opponent in Bowlin Stadium history. It opened in 2002. It marked the Shockers' first victory by run-rule this season.
