WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State hit a season-best .353 and recorded 11 blocks, smothering South Florida 25-15, 25-19, 25-7 on Friday night at Charles Koch Arena.
Three Shockers reached double-digit kills, as Brylee Kelly and Natalie Foster each notched 11 and Sophia Rohling chipped in with ten. The trio hit .450, .611 and .529, respectively, helping the Shockers to a season-best .738 (31-42) sideout percentage.
Wichita State (11-10, 6-4) steadily built a comfortable cushion in the opening set, using a trio of mini 3-0 runs to extend the lead to 17-10.
