NORMAN, Okla. – Wichita State captured a 15-4 win in five innings over Bowling Green in an error-filled affair on Saturday afternoon at Love's Field.
After Shocker starter struck out the game's first two batters, the Falcons opened the scoring, capitalizing on an error to bring a runner home with an RBI single in the top of the first.
It didn't take long for the Shockers to respond as back-to-back walks allowed to drive in to tie the game at 1-1. The Shockers then loaded the bases with nobody out but couldn't bring anyone home to break the tie.
