NORMAN, Okla. – The Wichita State men's tennis team fell on the road to the receiving votes Oklahoma Sooners, 0-7 at Headington Family Tennis Center on Friday afternoon.
The Shockers (2-4) now trail Oklahoma (6-1) 3-22 in the all-time series and are 1-20 when playing against the Sooners in Norman.
The Sooners earned a swift victory in doubles with wins of 6-2 and 6-3 at courts one and three respectively, leaving and match at court two to go unfinished with the Wichita State duo leading 6-5.
In singles, the Shockers were swept across all courts with freshman Hodzic playing the most contested match at court three, falling 5-7, 4-6.
