WICHITA, Kan. -- Five Oklahoma State pitchers combined on a five-hit shutout as the Cowboys bested Wichita State 3-0 on Tuesday night at Eck Stadium.
Both starting pitchers were dominant on a bitterly cold evening that made offense hard to come by. Wichita State's Tyler Dobbs carried a no-hitter into the seventh and Oklahoma State's Janzen Keisel allowed just two hits over five scoreless innings. The Cowboys (16-9) finally broke through against Dobbs in the top of the seventh, getting a leadoff walk and a single from Nolan Schubart to put runners at the corners with nobody out.
