WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State combined to throw a one-hitter in Saturday's 12-1 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State at Wilkins Stadium.
Erin McDonald got the start in the circle and threw 5.0 innings, allowing just the one run and one hit to go with five strikeouts. Caitlin Bingham came in to throw the final 5.0 innings. Bingham struck out nine batters and allowed no hits.
Laurie Derrico and Bailey Lange led the offensive attack with two hits and two RBI's apiece. Ryleigh Buck hit her first home run of the fall and five different Shockers scored at least two runs.
